Abdelmalek M.D. MPH, Dept of Internal Medicine, Center of Human Genetics and Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology; Genetic-Environment Risk Factors in the Development of Nonalcoholic Fatty Liver Disease: A Familial Aggregation Study.

Research Assistant at Oklahoma Center for Neuroscience. 2003-2004. Beverly Greenwood-Van Meerveld Ph.D, FACG; Studied the efficacy of prokinetic/PPI combinations in esophageal mucosal protection from HCl induced esophagitis in the cat model.

Research Assistant at Oklahoma Center for Neuroscience. 2002-2004. Beverly Greenwood-Van Meerveld Ph.D, FACG; Developed a Ferret Model to investigate the use of anti-emetics in cisplatin induced retching and vomiting. Presentation of research results to GlaxoSmithKlein representatives.
